A much sought-after chamber musician, he performs regularly in varying formations from duo to octet. He has also recorded several CDs with the “Duo Lusingando”. Draganov teaches a violin class for highly gifted musicians at the Zurich Conservatory and is responsible for for pre-college students. As a guest professor he teaches at various other institutions, such as the renowned “Rimskij-Korsakow Conservatory” in St. Petersburg or the “Tblisi State Conservatoire” in Georgia. His students are first prize winners of international and national violin competitions.
He is editor of his own edition (PhilipDraganov Edition). In 2011 the edition of Tschaikowsky’s violin concert with bowings and fingerings as well as advice on the interpretation will appear.
